POT for NEOM HGHC PV Plant

POT for NEOM NGHC PV Plant achieves 2.9 GWp capacity with comprehensive testing for PVH and NEXTracker systems.

The POT for NEOM NGHC PV Plant, located in NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a major renewable energy project with a planned capacity of 2.9 GWp. This project is a joint venture led by Alqaimary for Electromechanical Works in collaboration with Supply Towers Contracting. The project involves the installation and POT (Proof of Technology) testing of advanced tracking systems for solar panels, including both PVH trackers and NEXTracker systems.

The testing phase was meticulously executed to meet the highest international technical standards, ensuring full satisfaction for the clients, including L&T, Air Product, and ACWA Power. The testing regimen comprised 705 tests for NEXTracker systems and 422 tests for PVH trackers, validating the robustness and efficiency of the installation.

This large-scale solar power project exemplifies the commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure within NEOM. The successful integration and testing of these state-of-the-art tracking systems underscore the project's importance in achieving substantial solar energy capacity, setting a benchmark for future renewable energy endeavors in the region.
